20+ years serving as a Motor Transport Operator (88M), to a Patient Administration Specialist (68G), to a Human Resources Officer (42H), the Army shaped me. I’ve been a Soldier. A mother. A leader. A fighter.
Now, I’m ready to be a storyteller. As some folks were learning stage directions, I was learning land navigation—...in the rain...with 80 pounds on my back...a prayer in my pocket..and a smile on my face that said, “Lord, if you don’t get me outta here…”. The Army gave me discipline, presence, and leadership. Hiring veterans isn’t charity — it’s strategy. Veterans bring mission focus, skills, resilience, and unmatched leadership. In the end for a project, just like in the military, it’s the entire unit that makes the mission a success. And veterans know how to be part of something bigger than themselves. I got injured before earning my green beret. I should be dead from the training accident. TBI and coma for 3 weeks followed with a Craniotomy I had planned to end my life. This industry and working with IMPACT Entertainment literally saved my life since transitioning out when I felt no hope.
